Warriors, board members, volunteers, family and friends of Opportunity Knocks: please join us this Saturday, March 7th, to march in Forest Park’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade! We will meet at 12:30 PM at the CTA Blue Line, Forest Park stop parking lot. You may enter the parking lot at Van Buren St. coming from Des Planes Ave. The parade will start at 1:00 PM.
Pre-Parade Shuttle Option
We are offering a shuttle for those who want to park their car near the end of the parade route for easy departure after the festivities. We will transport you to the start of the Parade. Meet Mike Carmody outside of Bed Bath & Beyond (Harlem & Washington) no later than 11:30 AM on the morning of the parade to take advantage of this!
Parade Route & Road Restrictions
The parade route begins at Madison and Van Buren and continues East on Madison ending on Elgin. Please note that cars will not be permitted to drive inside the parade staging area after 12:15 PM.
Participant Pick-Up After Parade
Participants can be picked up after the parade at the Bed Bath & Beyond parking lot (Harlem & Washington) unless otherwise communicated to us by their parents or guardians.
