This week a small group of Life Shoppers teamed up with CITE 1 classroom to discuss internet safety. We kicked off our first lesson by discussing what it means to be “on-line” or “on-land”. We did this by labeling different scenarios & relationships as an “on-line” or “on-land”. For instance, Facebook is a community of friends who are “on-line” and our classroom is a community of friends that are “on-land”. We will soon discuss the types of etiquette that is encouraged when we engage in these different “on-line” scenarios and relationships.
