This week in nutrition Warriors ate a rainbow of foods! Thanks to Warrior leader Jackie, and our Dominican University interns Shannon & Kathy, we learned what benefits different colored foods have for our bodies. We taste tested our way through red strawberries, orange bell peppers, yellow pineapple, green broccoli & avocado, blueberries, purple cabbage, and brown wheat bread! Each Thursday afternoon Jackie is leading her peers in nutrition and we are excited to keep learning all about the health benefits of food. Check out the pictures from each weeks activity!
