For Thanksgiving the Life Shop was happy to donate food to our good friends at Oak Park River Forest CITE 1 classroom who coordinated a special Thanksgiving at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. The good students of CITE 1 classroom worked hard serving their meal to more than 30 veterans. The Life Shop teams up with OPRF CITE 1 classroom regularly to explore new learning topics and participate in community partnerships.
